Every summer, the Wildwood Beach Patrol opens Lincoln Ave Beach for kids with down syndrome and their families for 21 Down Beach Day. Often, kids with down syndrome aren’t comfortable in the ocean. Their parents can’t just relax and watch them frolic. But on July 15th, the kids swim with seasoned Wildwood lifeguards on soft-top paddle boards.
